IIIT Raichur [IIITR] : Admissions

1. Apply for JEE Main: The application process for JEE Main Candidates can apply online at the official website of NTA.
2. Register for JoSAA counselling: The BTech admissions at IIIT Raichur are made through JoSAA counselling. You must register for JoSAA counselling to participate in the admission process.
3. Choose IIIT Raichur as your preferred choice: Once you have registered for JoSAA counselling, you can choose IIIT Raichur as one of your preferred choices.
4. Report to the institute and complete the admission formalities: Once allotted a seat, you must report and complete the admission formalities. This includes submitting the original documents, paying the tuition, and taking the admissions.

1. The candidate must have cleared their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
2. They should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following: Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology in their 10+2.
3. The candidate must score 75% aggregate in 10+2 for general category students or 65% aggregate if belonging to the (SC/ST)

          Candidates.

1. The selection of candidates to IIIT Raichur BTech is based on their JEE Main ranks. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) manages and regulates the counselling process.

1. Pay the application fee: The application fee is Rs. 2,500/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 1,250/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
2. Download the application form: The application form for PhD admission can be downloaded from the IIIT Raichur website.
3. Kindly complete the application form and submit it along with the necessary Documents: The required documents are: 
1.  GATE scorecard (or equivalent).
2.  Master's degree certificate.
3.  Mark sheets of all the examinations passed.
4.  Research proposal.
5.  Two letters of recommendation.
6.  A passport-size photograph.
4. Appear in Entrance exams: Candidates must qualify for these relevant entrance exams: GATE/UGC/CSIR/CSIR NET/DST/INSPIRE/DBT/NBHM or another examination-recognized funding agency.
5. Attend the written test and interview: Shortlisted candidates will receive invitations for a written test and an interview. The specific date and venue for these assessments will be communicated later.
