Indus valley PU & Degree College : Admissions

Admissions are open year-round, and regular admissions adhere to Government regulations. Scholarships and fee concessions may be available for school toppers and exceptional students. To apply, eligible candidates should follow these steps:

1. Visit the college office to inquire about admissions.
2. Thoroughly complete the admission form.
3. Submit the admission form along with the necessary documents.
4. Schedule a meeting with the Principal.
5. Complete the fee payment to confirm and complete the admission process.

Candidates meeting any of the following criteria are eligible for admission, subject to the satisfaction of additional conditions stipulated by the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka:

1. Successful completion of the Karnataka SSLC examination. OR
2. Successful completion of ICSE (Class X) examination. OR
3. Successful completion of the CBSE (Class X) examination. OR
4. Completing any equivalent examination recognised by the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka.
5. Foreign nationals and candidates who have passed the Class X or equivalent examination abroad must obtain their Eligibility Certificate from the Director of the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka to secure admission.

3. Migration Certificate issued by the board/university last studied in
4. Character Certificate issued by the head of the institution last studied in
5. Transfer Certificate issued by the head of the institution last studied in
6. Ten copies of passport-size photographs

1. The Eligibility Criteria: Please check the eligibility criteria for the chosen course before applying.
2. Download the Application Form: The application form is available on the college website: https://indusvalleycollege.com/admissions/.
3. Fill out the Application Form: Ensure it is entirely and accurately filled out, and attach all required documents.
4. Submit the Application Form: The application form can be submitted online or offline.
5. The Application Fee: The application fee must be paid to initiate the admission process.
6. Attend the Counselling Session: Following the application deadline, the college will conduct a counselling session for all eligible candidates. Candidates will be allocated seats based on merit and course preferences during this session.
7. Submit the Admission Fee: Candidates must submit the admission fee once a seat is allotted during the counselling session.
8. Complete the Admission Formalities: After submitting the admission fee, candidates must fulfil all admission formalities, including submitting original documents and completing the enrollment process at the college.

1. Eligibility: Pass Karnataka II PUC, Intermediate, or any equivalent examination recognized by Bangalore University.
2. Application Form: Fill out the application form online or offline. The online application form can be found on the college website. The offline application form can be obtained from the college office.
3. Documents Required: Marks card of Class 12 or equivalent examination.
1. Transfer Certificate from the previous college.
2. Character Certificate from the previous college.
3. Migration Certificate (if applicable).
4. Ten copies of passport-size photographs.
4. Submit Application: Submit the completed application form, the required documents, and the application fee to the college office. The application fee is INR 1000.
5. Selection Process: The college will shortlist candidates based on their application form, documents, and entrance test (if applicable). Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
6. Admission: Selected candidates will be offered admission to the program. They must pay the admission fee and other fees to confirm their seat.

1.  Candidates who have completed the Pre-University (10+2) examination with science subjects such as PCB, PCMB, or CBZ (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology or Zoology) as their major subjects will be eligible for admission to the 2nd year of the diploma course.
2.  Candidates who have completed the SSLC or an equivalent examination will be eligible for admission to the 1st year of the diploma course. The minimum age requirement is 15 years as of December 31st in the admission year.

1.  Candidates who have completed their Pre-University (10+2) examination with science subjects such as PCB, PCMB, or CBZ as their major subjects will be eligible for admission to the 2nd-year diploma course.
2.  Candidates who have completed their SSLC or an equivalent examination will be eligible for admission to the 1st-year diploma course. A minimum age of 15 years as of December 31st in the year of admission is required.

1. Candidates who have completed their Pre-University (10+2) examination with significant subjects in sciences such as PCB, PCMB, or CBZ will be granted admission to the 2nd-year diploma course.
2. Candidates who have completed their SSLC or an equivalent examination will be admitted to the 1st-year diploma course. An applicant's minimum age must be 15 years as of December 31st in the year of admission.
